Question 1

What is Triton Relay?

Accepted Answer

Triton Relay is an AI assistant for Facebook Messenger and Instagram DMs. You connect your Facebook account and Pages, and your assistant answers the messages your ads and posts bring in — qualifying leads, capturing the details you ask for, and saving them to Triton Relay's contacts, GoHighLevel, or your own apps through the API.

Question 2

How is Triton Relay different from ManyChat or Chatfuel?

Accepted Answer

Most DM automation tools make you build brittle flowcharts. Triton Relay replaces the flowchart with a conversational AI agent that actually understands what a lead is asking, answers open-ended questions from the business facts you give it, and only asks for one piece of information at a time. Plans are based on Pages and included AI usage rather than punishing you for growing your audience.

Question 3

Which channels and ad types are supported?

Accepted Answer

Triton Relay answers Facebook Messenger conversations and Instagram DMs on the Pages you connect, including conversations started from Click-to-Messenger ads, and you can connect more than one Facebook account. It replies in DMs only — it doesn't answer comments on posts or ads. Telegram, WhatsApp, and Discord are available as custom builds.

Question 4

Can Triton Relay create and run my ads too?

Accepted Answer

Yes, on Growth and higher plans. Describe your offer and Triton Relay's AI writes Click-to-Messenger ad copy grounded in your assistant's facts. Add a link to your image, set a daily budget, age range, and locations (a country, region, ZIP, or a city with a radius), and launch it into your own Meta ad account — it's created paused, so nothing is spent until you start it. Rules can then pause an ad when its cost per conversation passes your limit or when its conversations aren't producing qualified leads.

Question 5

How do I connect my Facebook account and Pages?

Accepted Answer

From your dashboard, choose Connect Facebook and sign in with Facebook Login for Business. You'll select which Pages Triton Relay may manage — nothing is copied or pasted manually. You can disconnect a Page at any time from the Pages tab.

Question 6

How long until my bot is live on my ads?

Accepted Answer

Most teams connect a Page, configure an assistant, and go live the same day. The assistant builder includes a live test playground so you can validate tone, pricing answers, and lead capture before your bot ever replies to a real customer.

Question 7

What is an AI reply credit?

Accepted Answer

Each reply your assistant sends uses one AI reply credit, taken from your plan's included replies first and then from any top-ups. If a reply fails to generate, its credit is returned. Replies made with your own AI key (BYOK) don't use credits.

Question 8

What happens if I run out of included replies?

Accepted Answer

We email you when your balance is running low and again if it runs out, and you can buy a top-up pack at any time from Settings → Credits. Purchased top-ups stay valid for 90 days; included plan credits reset each billing period and do not roll over.

Question 9

How do I pay, and what currency is billing in?

Accepted Answer

Plans are priced in USD, and checkout shows the payment methods currently available — no US bank account needed. Your subscription renews monthly and you can change your plan from Settings → Billing at any time.

Question 10

Can I use my own AI provider key?

Accepted Answer

Yes — Growth and higher plans can add their own OpenAI or Anthropic key in Settings → BYOK. Your provider account pays for model usage directly, replies made with your key don't use Triton Relay credits, and Triton Relay still supplies the assistant builder, inbox, contacts, and integrations. Platform rate limits and abuse controls still apply.

Question 11

Do I need GoHighLevel to use Triton Relay?

Accepted Answer

No. GoHighLevel is optional. Connect a HighLevel sub-account and every lead your assistants capture is also copied there as a contact; without it, leads are kept in Triton Relay's own contacts, which you can export to CSV. Agency plans can connect more than one location.

Question 12

Is there an API?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Create an API key in Settings → API to list, read, create, and update contacts and the details your assistants capture — for example to pass leads to a Telegram, Discord, or WhatsApp bot, a CRM, or your own app. The full reference is at tritonrelay.app/docs/api.

Question 13

Can you build something custom for my business?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Choose Full customization in your dashboard to tell us what you need — Telegram, WhatsApp, or Discord assistants, AI agents, or workflows around your own tools — and chat with our team there. You'll get a quote with a build list; you pay 50% to start and the rest once you've approved the finished build. Two rounds of edits are included.

Question 14

How is my data and my customers' data protected?

Accepted Answer

Facebook and payment credentials are encrypted at rest, every request is scoped to your workspace, and Meta webhook signatures are verified before any event is processed. See our Privacy Policy for full detail on what is collected, how long it is retained, and how to request deletion.

Question 15

Can I cancel at any time?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Cancel from Settings → Billing in your dashboard, or email support@tritonrelay.app from your account email. You keep access through the end of the period you already paid for, no further charges are made, and you can undo the cancellation before then. Subscription payments come with a 14-day money-back guarantee; see our Refund Policy for details.
